I am mighty nervous for the test tomorrow on Beloved, because there are a lot of parts that I really did not understand. For example, what is the importance of whether that was Sethe’s mouth or not in the photo on that newspaper clipping? This chapter is pages 181 to 186, in the book that’s from the “shool” library. The repetition of “her mouth” is obviously important from the way that it is being repeated, but I do not really understand why. I am hoping like crazy that, “Why did Paul D keep on denying that the picture in the newspaper clipping had Sethe’s mouth?” If that is one of the questions, then I am going to come up with some lame answer.
